Smart Classrooms

Smart classrooms are also called 'digital' or multimedia or 'new media' classrooms. These rooms are equipped with projectors capable of showing either computer data or video images, sound systems, and internet connections as well as such peripheral equipment as VCRs, LaserDisc and DVD players, visual presenters and overhead projectors. These classrooms create new opportunities in interactive teaching and learning by integrating computer and audio-visual technologies.

There are three models of smart classrooms currently available at UNB:

Booking Information

At this time generally only the Presentation spaces are booked through the Registrar's Office using the Smart Classroom Booking Form. Supervised and unsupervised labs may be booked through the supervising department (e.g. ITS, HIL, etc.) Please follow the links above to the individual room pages for more details.
