Interdisciplinary Studies

Interdisciplinary programmes offer students the opportunity to cross departmental boundaries and explore issues from multiple perspectives. They offer exciting and challenging options for students, whether they are interested in employment readiness, graduate study, or personal enrichment.

The Faculty of Arts at UNB, Fredericton, offers six Interdisciplinary programmes in which students may take a minor, major, or honours degree (either singly or jointly, depending on the particular programme). These six programmes are:

International Development Studies

Law in Society

Multimedia Studies

Russian Studies

Women's Studies

IDSNet was created to enable educational institutions, students of development, non-governmental organizations, development practitioners, and donor agencies to communicate, provide information services and enhance the delivery of International Development educational programs in Canada and around the world.
