Over the past three years, the university has been installing new bike racks around campus. I encourage you to use the racks provided and use a secure locking device, such as the "U" type bolt that is more difficult to breach than a cable that is easily cut. Storing bikes inside buildings, offices, hallways, etc. on campus is prohibited. The locations of bike racks on campus are as follows:
Marshall d'Avray Hall
On the island in front of the main entrance, just off the asphalt walkway. As well, between the southeast exit of d'Avray Hall and the South Gym, just off the asphalt walkway.
Keirstead Hall Court Yard area
Between Keirstead and the HIL, behind the brick wall on the east end of Keirstead Hall.
Carleton/Tilley /Toole Halls
On the lower side of Carleton, back end of Toole and within a short walking distance to Tilley Hall.
Memorial Hall & Alumni Memorial Building
On the island between Memorial Hall and the Alumni Memorial Building, located just off the roadway between both buildings.
Bailey Hall
On either side of the main entrance to Bailey Hall, off Bailey Drive.
Tilley Hall on concrete platform
Just to the right of the entrance facing Annex "C".
Head Hall "C" Level
On the concrete platform at the front entrance of "C" level.
Gillin Hall
Installed on concrete platform near the north side of "B" level parking lot.
Harriet Irving Library
Just off the parking lot facing Singer hall.
Dineen Drive
A short distance from the main entrance at University Ave and Beaverbrook Street.
IUC Building
Installed on a concrete platform in front of the Science Library.
Magee House
Near the front entrance of Magee off Montgomery Street.
Lady Beaverbrook Gym
To the right of the main entrance.
Old & New Forestry
Racks located between Old and New Forestry, to the left of the main entrance to Old Forestry, as well as across from the Bookstore behind new Forestry.
Student Union Building
To the right of the main entrance.
Ludlow Hall
Behind Ludlow Hall near the back entrance to the building.
Muriel McQueen Fergusson
Near lower level entrance.
