Welcome to the Department of Psychology at the University of New Brunswick-Fredericton---one of Canada's oldest universities! Our department is located in Keirstead Hall overlooking picturesque Fredericton, capital of New Brunswick, and the lovely Saint John River valley. At the graduate level, our department has two doctoral programs: a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and a Ph.D. in Experimental and Applied Psychology. Research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels takes place in our well-equipped laboratories in Keirstead Hall and in the community. Areas of research range widely and include human sexuality, depression, feminist perspectives, autism, women's studies, problem gambling, gender and laterality, pain assessment and management, infant and adolescent development, cultural psychology, self-concept and identity, bilingualism and cognitive neuroscience. We promise to make your stay in our department an exciting, fruitful, and academically enriching one! |
