Admission Process
To be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Nursing program the following documentation is required:
• application form for admission to UNB ( Online application.)
• official transcript of marks from high school and/or any community college or university courses.
• Faculty
of Nursing Supplementary form (Printable form)
This supplementary documentation includes the request for program/location
form and a personal data form. It also requests a brief summary of: (a) major
experiences and important decision points in your life (b) why you wish to
be a nurse (c) why you are interested in entering the UNB BN program.
UNB Application and Faculty of Nursing Supplementary forms are available from the Admissions Office and the Moncton Campus general office. Completed applications should be submitted by March 31st to:

Upon acceptance to the BN program, the following additional information will be requested:
• current immunization record.
• proof of current CPR certification (Basic Rescuer - Level C).
• recent photo for student file.

Costs unique to the program:
• Yearly CPR certification - Basic Rescuer
• Suicide Intervention Certificate
• Immunizations
• Travel to off-site clinical settings
• Purchase of uniforms, shoes & equipment
• Extended sessions in year 2 and 3 require additional 4 weeks room and board
• Registration exams in year 4
• Criminal record check
Scholarships
Entrance
scholarship must be applied for prior to Feb 15. You must
first have applied for Admission. Your average must exceed
80% to qualify.
