UNB Bathurst Campus
Faculty of Nursing
The Bathurst Campus is located in the New Brunswick Community College building on College Street. As a one-faculty campus, students benefit from the small class size taught by on-site nursing faculty members. A caring community and a spirit of learning are fostered. We provide clinical experience in health care at multiple sites within community settings as well as in the hospital.
We belong to the University of New Brunswick’s comprehensive, multi-campus institution. The University of New Brunswick Fredericton, the oldest university in Canada, was founded in 1785. The Faculty of Nursing was established on the Fredericton campus in 1958. In 1995, the Bachelor of Nursing (basic) program expanded to UNB Saint John and two new campuses in Moncton and Bathurst. In 2001, the Bachelor of Nursing (basic) program expanded once again to Humber College in Ontario.
