Multimedia Classroom & A/V RoomMultimedia Classroom
Conference Room 2, equipped with multi-media instructional equipment and seating for 25 persons, is normally reserved for law librarian and Law Faculty multi-media teaching sessions. When it is not in use for teaching, at certain times of the year and subject to a librarian's approval, Conference Room 2 may also be used by law students on an ad hoc basis, the same as the other conference rooms. Please inquire about using Room 2 at the Circulation Desk.
A/V RoomFacilities and equipment for viewing DVDs and videotapes are located on the Third Floor - Old Wing, in the A/V Room (Room 301-A). To use this room, sign out the key and the DVD or tape to be viewed at the Circulation Desk and return these immediately after use. There is a three-hour time limit per visit to use the A/V Room. Viewers are expected to have some knowledge of how to use the viewing equipment since there may be insufficient staff available at certain times to provide assistance. Most of the library-owned DVDs and videotapes are cataloged and shelved in the Reserve area; however, DVDs and videotapes of first-year student moots from the past several years are kept in the A/V room itself. The first-year moots from the current year are kept on Reserve. When not being used for A/V viewing, this room may be booked by law students as a conference room for ad hoc group study. However, priority will be given to those needing to use the viewing equipment in the room. Students may reserve the viewing room (up to THREE (3) days in advance of when the room is to be used) in person or by telephoning the Circulation Desk (453-7983). |
