UNB Alumni Borrowing

UNB alumni have privileges at the Law Library as described below.

All members of the general public, including UNB alumni and all law practitioners, may use the Law Library to consult our materials onsite and to access recommended law-related free websites and some licensed online services via our public-access computer workstations.

Any alumni may request an alumni library card at the Circulation Desk of the Harriet Irving Library, UNB-Fredericton, during normal office hours. This card is honored at any library on the Fredericton campus, but users may only borrow ONE book at a time from the Law Library, rather than multiple books, as allowed at the other UNB libraries.

UNB alumni who are members of the Law Society of New Brunswick and who reside, practice, or are employed in the greater Fredericton/Oromocto area are eligible for a Law Library "Practitioner Extramural Borrower's Card."
