Common Printing problems faced by students

You are granted $10.00 worth of print credits in your first academic year only. When you exceed this amount, the print jobs sent will not continue unless more print credits are purchased. Print credits can be purchased over the web as long as you know your student ID and PIN (Personal Identification Number). To purchase print credits login to e-Services --> click on the Financial tab --> click on 'Buy Print Credits'. Follow the instructions on screen. You have to pay this amount at the Comptroller's Office in the Physics and Administration Building (where tuition fees are paid) before the end of the term.

ITS has two labs which contain colour printers. These labs are located in Head Hall D7 and Gillin Hall D 117. Both labs also offer the ability to print in duplex. Single sided colour printing is $0.20 per page, while duplex colour printing is $0.30 per page.

There may be a variety of reasons as to why this is happening. The primary among them being the default printer may not be set to the particular lab in which you are working and the print jobs may have been routed to another lab. To overcome this problem go to Start then Printers and Faxes. Right Click on the printer in the lab where you are working and then put a check mark on SET PRINTER AS DEFAULT by clicking on it. This ensures that the default printer is the printer in your lab.
