ENGLISH LANGUAGE RESOURCES

Studying in a foreign language is challenging and can be exhausting.
At UNB we make every effort to assist students with their language skills.
Whether you drop in for fun and games at the English Corner Cafe, take classes through UNB's English Language Program (ELP), or use the resources at the UNB Writing Center - there's something for everyone!
OTHER SUGGESTIONS FOR LANGUAGE SUPPORT:
- International Students and spouses are also encouraged to check with the Fredericton Public Library, the library often has noon hour conversation clubs as well as an ESL Reading "Book Club."
- Tutorial sessions are available at the UNB English Language Program (ELP). Dates and times are flexible. Contact ELP for details: 453-3564 or elp@unb.ca
- Toastmasters is a university club that allows you to develop your presentation skills while also providing you with basic leadership training. It's a great place to practice your speaking skills for an upcoming presentation or for developing impromptu speaking skills that can help you with job interviews. The program is self-paced but does require strong grasp of the English language for it to be fully beneficial. Their website is located at http://unbtm.freetoasthost.com/
