IF YOU ARE ARRIVING FOR THE FALL TERM
Step 1: To assist you with your transition to UNB, please complete the arrival form, or email: isao@unb.ca as soon as possible with your arrival information. PLEASE NOTE:
Make sure you have enough money to cover expenses in case you miss your flight connections. Since the majority of the UNB students arrive in Fredericton in late August/early September, temporary accommodation gets booked very quickly. Be sure to make arrangements before you leave your home country.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CHECK-IN
On your first full-day in Fredericton, all new international students are encouraged to check-in at: International Student Advisor's Office Monday-Friday anytime between 8am-12pm,1pm-4pm
An advisor will check your immigration documents and provide information and advice to help you get settled. This orientation check-in will take 30 minutes and is recommended for all new international students - undergraduate and graduate. FALL '09 INTERNATIONAL ORIENTATION SCHEDULE: September 2: UNB Orientation Check-in www.unbf.ca/orientation/checkin.html September 5: City Tour and Farmers Market September 9: International Student Campus Tour September 11: International Student Orientation and Welcome Party September 14: International Students' Spouses and Families Welcome Party September 16: Ice Cream Social (12-1pm Alumni Memorial Building) UNDERGRADUATE ORIENTATION SCHEDULE The majority of new students begin their academic studies in the Fall term. UNB provides a number of orientation events in early Septemberl including Academic Orientation, UNB Residence Orientation and Student Union Orientation events. These events not only provide important information, they are also fun and a great way to meet new students. Check here for the full orientation event calendar. GRADUATE ORIENTATION SCHEDULE At UNB there is a Graduate Student Association (GSA). This is an on-campus student group that provides information and services to all graduate students. Each Fall the GSA hosts orientation activities for new graduate students.
