HOW TO APPLY
TO BE AN EXCHANGE STUDENT AT
UNB FREDERICTON

 

Undergraduate Students

Download the Application Form to apply to become an exchange student at UNB. Print and mail the completed document to the address at the bottom of the form.

If you plan to live in residence, please complete the attached Residence Form and submit it along with your exchange application.

Graduate Students

To apply to the School of Graduate Studies, you must read each of these documents, complete an application form, and be sure to send in all of the supporting documentation required based on your situation.  As you are an exchange student, please send your applications to Silke Klenk, your International Relations Coordinator.  DO NOT SEND YOUR APPLICATION TO THE SCHOOL OF GRADUATE STUDIES.  We will submit it for you.  To expediate the process, you may fax your application and copies of your documentation to Silke Klenk, International Relations Office, at Fax: 506 453 5005.  But the School of Graduate Studies requires originals so you must also mail in your application package.

You will need:

  • A completed application form
  • Two official copies (in a sealed envelope) of your academic transcript from each previous undergraduate  and graduate program
  • Proof of English language competency (ie TOEFL)
  • Application fee of $50 (Canadian)

Depending on what faculty you are applying to, you may need to send additional documentation such as a Statement of Interest, results from Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) see http://www.gmat.org, results from a Graduate Record Examination (GRE) see www.gre.org, a biography, etc.
