UNB FACULTY ABROAD

The International Relations Office would like to collaborate with faculty who have contacts with universities overseas or who have expertise in certain regions of the world. If you know of an international institution that could be a partner with UNB, we’d love to know. We can provide promotional materials to any faculty member who would like to promote UNB as a student abroad destination during their international travels. The Office also has limited funding available to faculty who plan to be overseas, but would require additional funding to travel to the institution. Possible partnership opportunities include:

• Student exchange agreements
• Faculty exchange agreements
• Other forms of student mobility collaboration

The role of the faculty member depends on the specific situation, but could involve:

• visiting existing or potential exchange partner institutions overseas and meeting with university representatives to promote UNB as a student mobility or faculty exchange destination;
• gathering and disseminating information about existing or potential exchange partner institutions as a destination for UNB’s student abroad and/or faculty exchange participants;
• meeting with potential partner institutions and serving as the UNB contact for future communications and possible collaborations.
