Residence Services – Desk Services
The Residence Administration front desk is located centrally on campus within the Residence Administration Building (20 Bailey Drive).
Check-in and check-out take place at the front desk, and students are also able to buy laundry change, replace lost/stolen keys, pick-up parcels, adjust meal plans, or just ask a question at the desk.
Residence Services - Mail
Incoming mail / letters are delivered to residence buildings each weekday and placed in student mailboxes by University or student janitorial staff. Parcels are held at the appropriate mailroom (DKT, McLeod House, or Residence Administration for all other houses) with a notification card being sent to the student receiving the parcel. To pick up a parcel, students present the parcel card and their Student ID, and sign for the parcel. Students should check the schedule for pickup times at their parcel pick-up location. Parcels should be insured.
Stamped, outgoing mail may be sent at the Residence Administration Building, the mailrooms in DKT and McLeod House, or at the Student Union Building. A full range of postal services is available at the Canada Post outlet in the Paper Trail, which is located on the main floor of the Student Union Building.
In accordance with Canada Post policies, Residential Life, Campus & Conference Services is unable to send mail to a forwarding address when students leave residence. Because of this, students should ensure that they provide their forwarding address directly to anyone who would address mail to them in residence (friends, relatives, magazine and other subscriptions, banks & credit card companies, etc.).
