Physical Education teacher education

My research interests and projects centre around improving the quality of physical education programs offered to elementary and secondary public school students. More specifically, these interests include the development of pedagogical content knowledge in teachers, the application of university course work to the practical world of teaching, and out of field teaching.

Generally teaches elementary and secondary physical education methods courses.

Currently working on two lesson study projects: one with pre-service teachers and one completed with in-service teachers. The aim of the projects is to study the effects of collaborative lesson planning.
