Saint John River

This program reclaimed and represented our natural and historical heritage. Please CLICK on each of the following areas of exploration for visual images of the experience.

Through archived photos, drawings, paintings and maps we examined the settlements along the river in the past.

Through story, song, and dance we explored the importance of the river to the various cultures who have lived on its banks.

We learned how people, and especially children, have worked and played on the river.

We developed awareness of the wildlife in, on and along the banks of our river.

Here is a list of some of the books we read.
