To raise awareness and support for the 1989 all-party House of Commons
resolution to end child poverty by the year 2000 through a network
of 26 national and 36 provincial and community partners. See links

Promotes the concerns of over 50 national, non-governmental organizations
to ensure the observance, both by governments and individuals, of
the rights and freedoms proclaimed in the United Nations Convention
on the Rights of the Child.

Focuses on issues of economic and social security for 750 individual
and organization members in the academic and policy making community.

Institute of Child Health
Promotes the health and well being of Canadian children through
500 individual and organization members.

& Family Canada
A diverse group of non-profit organizations whose membership bases
are very different but whose missions are firmly rooted in a commitment
to the well-being of Canada's children and their families.

Children's Agenda
The "social union" focuses on the pan-Canadian dimension
of health and social policy systems, the linkages between the social
and economic unions, and the recognition that reform is best achieved
in partnership among provinces, territories and the Government of
Canada.
UNICEF
UNICEF is mandated by the United Nations General Assembly to advocate
for the protection of children's rights, to help meet their basic
needs and to expand their opportunities to reach their full
potential.
