When in kindergarten Natalie Perro represented the Brahms lullaby using several pages of musical notation; this page being one example. She understands that music is represented in a symbol set different than the written word. She also knows that the notes are placed on line and spaces and that the placements of the notes indicates a specific musical sound. In addition she recognizes that the measures are closed.
