Short-term Work Attachments

During our second and third projects (1998-2009), we provided 69 short-term training programs for Bhutanese educators.  These programs included:

  • professional development opportunities in English and mathematics education, engineering and computer science
  • curriculum writing
  • systems administration (ICT)
  • CISCO
  • attendance at international IT conferences
  • university administration
  • primary mathematics/reading workshops
  • counselling

Most of the short-term programs were conducted at UNB, with the remainder in the South Asian region.
