Follow the stories of four dykes who are sometimes four women, sometimes a femme and three boys and sometimes somewhere in between, as they get searched crossing the border into Canada, blur the boundaries of gender and identity and lead their queer lives. Beautiful prose accompanied by intruiging photographs... absolutely irresistable. -vc

The End of Gay
Bert Archer - LGBC
This book talks about the construction of LGB identities and how they relate to relatively recent ideas. Through this, Archer argues that we are approaching an era when such terms become redundant and the gender(s) of one's partners are no more relevant than the colours of their eyes. - vc

Family Outing
Chastity Bono - LG
This book talks about coming out, in all the various stages from the first "I think I might be gay." to later acceptance and coming out to family, friends and even to the general public, all told by Chastity Bono, the daughter of Sonny and Cher. Throughout, the stories of several other people are weaved in with Chastity's own story. This gives the book more depth as a reference on coming out, but also dilutes her story. -vc
The Lesbian Love Companion
