Since 1966

Swashbuckling, sword fighting, dueling
- whatever you want to call it fencing is all the rage amongst the coolest of
people... Peter Pan, Robin Hood, Johnny Depp,
Keira Knightley, Pierce Brosnan, and even Madonna. The sport has its roots in
17th century sword fighting and is one of only four sports featured at every
Olympic Games in the modern era. But, it is as much a sport of leisure as it is
a competitive goal for participants.
Whether you just want to try something new, get/stay in
shape, or pursue an Olympic medal, we have programs for all skill levels, in
sabre, foil, and epee. All equipment is provided. It's a safe, exciting, and
unique experience. We are proudly the longest running fencing club in Atlantic Canada
and hold the 2009 Atlantic University Fencing Championship title.
Membership is open to all UNB/STU university students, and community members 17 or older.
Visitors are
welcome to drop in at anytime.
