About the UNB/STU Fencing Club

 

    Established in 1966, the UNB/STU Fencing Club has had the privilege of instructing students and non-students alike in the sport of fencing. Besides providing a friendly and social atmosphere, the club also promotes the values of team spirit and sportsmanship. Training in all weapons (foil, épée & sabre) is available, and equipment is provided by the club. Beginner programs are usually held at the beginning of each semester. For those wanting the thrill of competition, our fencers compete regularly in the Atlantic Fencing League, with several tournaments every year.
