Youth Climbing:

Climbing is not only great for developing physical skills, but also interpersonal and cognitive skills. Climbing involves critical thinking, cooperation, balance, strength, and flexibility, among other things. Climbing is exciting, challenging and can enhance self-confidence. A common misconception is that climbing requires great upper body strength. In fact, with climbing, technique is more effective than power! This can provide a more even playing field, so to speak, for beginning climbers.

How to get involved:

Private Birthday Party
A healthy and fun alternative for a birthday party! You get private access to the indoor climbing facility, basic instruction, and supervision for top-rope climbing and bouldering. Climbing shoes are provided.

Family Climbing Night
Bring the whole family to enjoy climbing! The climbing wall is open to families most Saturday nights from September to April. (See exceptions)

Junior Climbing Program
This after-school program covers all the basics of indoor climbing, and is highly popular for kids between the ages of 7 and 12!

Private Youth Group Booking
Similar to private birthday parties but catered to high schools, scouts, university residences, and other youth groups wishing to rent the facility for private use. Supervision and shoes are provided. Simple rope instruction (belay technique, knots, etc.) and top-rope climbing during the event can be organized.

Bookings and inquiries can be made by emailing the club Vice President.
