March: We will be joining the undergraduate Civil students at their annual curling event at some point in March. Details will be sent out in the coming weeks.
February 13th: ACEGS is co-hosting a screening of the PhD Movie (http://www.phdcomics.com/movie/index.php). We have 50 free tickets to this event - available from the CE Office - see Joyce. You will then be able to pick them up at your convenience before the event.
January 27th: Postponed due to weather conditions ACEGS is meeting in the atrium of the Student Union Building @ 6:30 and then proceeding up to the Aitken Centre to watch the UNB Varsity Reds hockey team take on the Acadia Axemen. Tickets to this event are free with the presentation of a valid student ID at the box office. |

We are holding a ACEGS Event this Friday between 7 and 9 pm at the Grad House for all those interested. There will be refreshments available to Civil Engineering graduate students and free pizza will be provided for everyone, so bring a friend!

ACEGS is hosting a potluck this Friday, July 3rd, at 4 PM in the Grad House to touch
base with everyone during the summer months.
Please feel free to bring in your favorite food/ dish to share with everyone else. Weather permitting, we will be BBQing burgers/
sausages, and just enjoying the sunshine on the outdoor deck. Otherwise, we will order pizza and just chill out inside instead of outside.
We would also like to use this opportunity on Friday to recruit fellow graduate students
who would be interested in heading the Association of Civil Engineering Graduate Students and join its Executive Committee starting September 2009, as most of our
current Executive members will be graduating soon hopefully! )...So please stop by, and have a chat with us...We will do our best to entice you to join!
We will also be sharing with you our plans and ideas for events for the rest of summer!
