Tape Duplication & Loans

Arts 1000 Tapes

Each week tapes are made of recorded Arts 1000 lectures. These tapes are held at the Media Lab for a period of two weeks. Students can listen to the tapes at the Media Lab during regular lab hours.

If students need to obtain a taped lecture beyond the two week period they must get special written permission from the course professor.

Audio cassette duplication is available at the Media Lab. If you require blank audio cassettes they may be purchased from the Media Lab. (Price List)

Fees:

• If the duplication is made for coursework there is no fee.
• For duplications made for personal use there is a $1 fee per duplication

All copyright laws will be adhered to; duplicating copyrighted material without proper permission is prohibited.

Audio Cassette Loans

• Copies of audio cassettes required for course study or from the Media Lab’s audio library are available for loan for a period of 2 weeks (unless otherwise requested by the course professor.)
• Audio cassette loans may be renewed.
• Late charges of 25¢ per day per cassette will be applied if the cassette(s) is not returned or renewed by the specified date.
