Allan Roy - BEd, MEd

Allan Roy is a Faculty associate at the Second Language Research Institute of Canada at the University of New Brunswick (Faculty of Education). Allan has a BEd from McGill University and an MEd from UNB. Over the past 15 years, he has taught at various levels from kindergarten to grade 8, both in the early and late French immersion programs. Allan and his colleagues have presented at several national and international conferences. They also offer professional development workshops for teachers. His areas of interest include balanced literacy instruction in the French immersion context, curriculum integration and effective assessment practices.

Allan Roy est associé à la faculté d'éducation de l'UNB où il travaille à l'Institut de recherches en langue seconde du Canada. Il possède un BEd de l’université McGill et un MEd de l’UNB. Allan a enseigné pendant plusieurs années dans les programmes d’immersion précoce et tardive. Il a mené un projet de recherche au sujet de l’écriture en immersion tardive et un deuxième sur l’intégration des matières. Allan est formateur pour les 6 traits d’écriture.
